I've had a QP waiting to be posted for over a fortnight now and I just keep forgetting to post it! Tonight I also created a Christmas Card/Brag Book page (as part of the 'Festival of Lights' activities over at Brownie Scraps) so I decided that I really should post it before going to bed or else you may never see it :)
So, here they are... They have both been made using my 'Merry & Bright' kit which can be found here. Click on the preview images to download each page.
Here is an example of what can be done with the page:
Here is the Quick Page that I created a few weeks ago. It's rather amusing that the brag book page I created tonight is so similar to this page. I guess I must really like the glittery holly and striped papers! Oh well, I guess it just means that your QP and brag book page will match beautifully :) Once again, click on the preview to download the quick page.
Here is an example of what can be done with the quick page:

Toadally Cute... and a Freebie!!!
In all of the excitement, I forgot to let you know about my latest (and DEFINITELY favourite!) kit called 'Toadally Cute'.
I love the colours, I love the frogs and I especially LOVE what my incredibly talented CT has done with it!
This awesome layout was created by Michelle:
Sara (who just so happens to be obsessed with frogs), has even gone 'Toadally' crazy! As soon as she got the kit, she created a new siggy and avatar for herself and then proceeded to make me a new fan blinkie, CT blinkie and BANNER!!! How cute are they???
(Note: check out the side panel of this blog for how to snag the blinkie for a chance to get the kit for free every time I release a new kit)
Sara then proceeded to update her blog layout and it looks absolutely fantastic!!! Check it out HERE! Whilst you are there, be sure to grab all of the freebies there such as these below:
She even made a co-ordinating alpha to the Toadally Cute kit:
So now that you have grabbed all of these awesome freebies, snagged the blinkie so that you are in with a chance on winning future releases for free and grabbed 'Toadally Cute' whilst my store is on sale... it's time for an add-on alpha freebie :) The alpha that comes with the kit is adorable but would be even better to have a lowercase version without the ripples (for easier use) so... here it is!!

Moving In Sale!!!
Well, it is now official so I am soooo excited to inform you that I am the newest Brownie Baker at Brownie Scraps!!! This is actually a dream come true for me because I LOVE the site and practically live there so to have been chosen as an exclusive Designer there is such a great honour! Ok, I admit it... I cried when they informed me that they wanted ME to join their "family". :)
Unfortunately, I was out of action for part of my "break" (due to some back problems) so I am running a little behind schedule on filling my store. Because of this, my few products in there are looking a little sad and lonely but I can assure you that they won't be lonely for long :) Check back again soon and there should be some more items to satisfy your digital scrapbooking (or designing) hunger but don't forget to grab the 'Merry & Bright' kit whilst you can take advantage of the sale AND the coupon!! If you haven't already seen the 'Merry & Bright' kit, the preview is below (click on the image to view in the store).
Here is a sweet little freebie alpha for you that co-ordinates with the 'Merry & Bright' kit.

Season's Charm - Brag Book Blog Train!!!
Today is my final day with Digital Scrap Ink. If you haven't already done so, be sure to check out my closing sale with 50% off everything or buy the lot for $6. Further details can be found in my previous post.
I don't have any news for you yet about my future endeavors, but I do have a sneak peek of the Christmas kit that I have been frantically working on. I think it is really cute and I LOVE the colours!
Now onto the blog train... As always, the kit used to create the gorgeous brag book pages in this blog train, is the monthly collab over at Digital Scrap Ink. This month's collab is called Season's Charm and you can pick it up in the store for $5.99 or get it for free with an order of $10 or more.
And, here are the brag book pages that I created using this gorgeous kit.
Download:
* Season's Charm - Brag Book Pages (6 Mb)
The next stop in the blog train is Ivonne's blog. If you started here or got lost along the way, head over to the DSI blog for the complete list of stops.
I'll be back in a few weeks with hopefully another sneak peek or two and maybe even some details on whether, when and where I will be back in a store.
Enjoy!

Time for a Break - Closing Sale & Alpha Freebie!!!
As you may have noticed, my store is lacking a lot of new products. I have been meaning to build up my product base for some time now, but I am easily distracted by various forums, competitions, blog trains, creating freebies and general store life. Because of this, I have decided to take a short break from selling and blogging and try to concentrate on getting some products made. I may have to disconnect my network as well to avoid my email and forum distractions too :)
What this means to you is that I am having a Closing Sale at DSI. I'm undecided about whether ANY of my current stock will be available when I return to a store in the future, so if you like the look of anything, you need to grab it now before it may be gone for good!
The sale goes from now until Sunday the 15th of November, after which time my store at DSI will be permanently closed.
For my last week at DSI, my entire store is 50% off or you have the option of buying the lot for just $6. That's $37 value for $6, or 84% off! This includes a mega collab kit (that retails at $6 on its own), a bunch of S4H-friendly kits and mini kits, a mini brag book album, 2x CU products and a printable pack of lollipop covers.
To take advantage of this offer, you need visit my store, add every Snuggle Berry Pie product to your shopping cart and use the following coupon code when you go to the checkout.
COUPON CODE: sbp_AllFor6
Note, the coupon will only work if all 14 products are in your cart, so please add them all to your cart even if you already own one or more of the items. Once the purchase has been made, you can then just ignore the links for the items you already own, and download the other items.
As a temporarily parting gift, I have an alpha for you that co-ordinates with the 'Grateful' kit that you may have collected yesterday on the DSD blog train. If you haven't caught the blog train yet, check the previous post for details. My part is still available so others may still have their parts available too.
I'll hopefully be back in two weeks with a bunch of new products and maybe an update on whether, where and when I might join a new store. Thanks for following along and don't forget to check out my closing sale at DSI.
Enjoy!

Little Spooks - Vote and QP Freebie!!!
I've got another little treat for you. I entered my 'Little Spooks' kit in the "Brownie Bake Off" competition over at Brownie Scraps, as part of the fun stuff happening there for their Harvest Festival. Anyway, the requirement was to post a preview of a fall or Halloween themed kit along with a QP freebie and then everyone can vote on the kit they like the best. Although I put my entry in late, and I don't actually have a kit preview in my entry, Ramona was so sweet to allow me to still be a contender for the fabulous prize (a set of custom layer styles in my preferred color scheme).
So please take a couple of seconds to vote for 'Little Spooks' in the poll HERE. To see the other contenders (and to grab your freebie QPs) head on over to the Brownie Bake Off forum at Brownie Scraps.

Little Spooks - Textured Papers Freebie!!!
As mentioned last week, I am currently taking part in the Fairytale Academy Designers course (over at Brownie Scraps) which is a 6 week course that focuses each week on a different area of creating and marketing a scrapbook kit. Although the course is designed to focus on a single kit throughout the duration of the course, I had planned to create my official kit (to put in my store) as well as a freebie kit that I would give away at the end of each week. This week we focused on creating solid/textured papers with minimal (or no) patterns.
Well, I managed to get the papers done for the freebie kit but have barely started on my official kit (oops) and the assignment is "due" tomorrow. Oh well, at least I keep you all happy :)
I have an absolutely GORGEOUS colour scheme for my store kit but I still have no idea of the theme which is making it difficult to decide how much texture and what style to make my papers... so it was easier to just work on the freebie kit instead :) For the freebie kit, I decided to put together a cute Halloween kit and thought it might be useful for it to co-ordinate with the 3 Halloween-inspired alphas that I gave away over the last few weeks. Here are the previews of the textured papers for my Halloween kit, 'Little Spooks':
Click HERE to head on over to Digital Scrap Ink and download the paper pack.
I'll be back next week with the next installment of the kit!
Enjoy!

Everything is ONE DOLLAR!!! - October 3
There is another Surprise Dollar Day happening right now over at Digital Scrap Ink and I have decided to put all of my products in the sale! That's right, you can grab any of my kits or CU overlays for $1 each today only! Click HERE to go directly to my store and pick up some bargains!

Jack-O-Lantern Alpha - Freebie!!!
I hope you are not already sick of Halloween... because I have one last Halloween-inspired alpha for you.
It is currently school holidays here and I have had my next older sister and a couple of her kids staying this week. It's been wonderful but has meant that I have spent most of my time hanging out with them (rather than designing stuff for you) so I decided to finish off the Jack-O-Lantern alpha that I have mentioned a few times in the past fortnight. I'm rather happy with the result and hope you like it too. I included a little Jack-O-Lantern as well as a little bonus to the alpha.
Click HERE to head on over to Digital Scrap Ink and download the alpha.
If you haven't already done so, please fill in the poll HERE with your preferred choice of freebies and any suggestions of themes or colours that you would like. I will be starting the Fairytale Academy (designer "school") in a few days which runs for 6 weeks and results in part of a kit being produced each week (eg patterned papers one week, flowers and ribbons another etc). I am hoping to create 2 kits at the same time instead of just one, with one going into my store and the other being given away as a freebie as the weeks progress. Well, we'll see how well that goes and whether I then end up giving links to updated versions of the earlier downloads once the kit is completed :)
I'll be back next Saturday with the first installment of the kit. I guess the main difference to a typical "weekly download" is that there will be no full kit preview so you'll just have to download each piece and wait and see what the kit turns out like :)
Enjoy!

For this week's freebie, I put together another Halloween-inspired alpha. I had originally planned to finish off the Jack-o-lantern alpha that I started last week (ie. add the lowercase characters and symbols) and made this alpha as the "matching" alpha... but decided that it didn't look very nice with the Jack-O-Lantern alpha so created the full alpha on its own. So... I have a complete Spooky Pumpkin Alpha for you on this Sensational Saturday!
Click HERE to head on over to Digital Scrap Ink and download the alpha.
I noticed in the poll that there are slightly more votes for wanting some mini kits or full kits (over multiple days) style of freebies. Hopefully I can get some proper design time over the next few weeks so I can actually work on a new kit (or two) as well as some bigger freebies. If you haven't already let me know what you like, please fill in the poll HERE with your preferred choice of freebies and any suggestions of themes or colours that you would like.
Enjoy!

Candy Corn Alpha - Freebie!!!
For this week's freebie, I put together a couple of Halloween-inspired alphas... but then decided against including the pumpkin alpha (because it only had uppercase letters and numbers). So... I have a complete Candy Corn Alpha for you on this Sensational Saturday!

When Summer Ends - Brag Book Blog Train!!!
Have I got a treat for you today?!!??!
Firstly, I have a great sale for you! I'm a big fan of sales so you'll almost always find at least some of my products on sale but at the moment I have 50% off everything over $2, and 30% off everything else.
To add to this, DSI is having a storewide "match me" sale from 15-30 September which means that whatever you spend in the store will be matched so that you receive a $$ OFF coupon matching the amount you spent. For example... the "Oh the candles you'll blow" collab kit is normally $6.00 but is currently $3.00 (due to my 50% off sale). If you were to buy this for $3 you would then receive a coupon for $3.00 which you could use to buy both the 'In Your Eyes - Wonder' and the 'Vegetable Garden' kits (without spending another cent), giving you a total of 3 kits worth $11 for only $3. Bargain! Another alternative is to buy everything in my store whilst it is all on sale (for something like $12.60) and get a bigger $$ coupon that will mean you'll get my future kits for free until the end of the year! So, head on over to Digital Scrap Ink and grab yourself some bargains!!
Other than that, we have decided to have a mid-month blog train of gorgeous brag book pages using this month's DSI collab kit called 'When Summer Ends'. The collab kit consists of 28 papers, 30 elements, 3 quickpages, 2 desktops & 2 templates and can be purchased for $5.99 or is FREE with any order over $10.
My contribution to this blog train is shown below. Click on the preview image below to download the brag book pages.
Here is an example layout of my newest nephew, Max, using one of the brag book pages. I think it turned out beautifully.
Your next stop on the blog train is Anja's blog/. If you joined in part way though or got lost along the way, here are the other stops:

Poll - What freebies do you want???
I noticed that only about 70 people downloaded the Wax Seal Alpha so I figured I should actually find out what sort of freebies people want, rather than spend so many hours on something that noone really wants :) Since I will be giving away a freebie at least every Saturday, please let me know what type of freebies you would prefer. If you have a particular idea in mind, also feel free to add it and I will see if I can accommodate the request.
Thanks heaps!

Wax Seal Alpha - Freebie!!!
Now that HDDS has closed, I have decided to "go exclusive" at Digital Scrap Ink (ok, so I haven't bothered to find another store... and I don't create enough kits at the moment anyway). As part of this, I have taken over the "Sensational Saturdays" freebie giveaway which means I will have a freebie for you over on the DSI blog at least every Saturday.
This week, I created a wax seal alpha that goes quite nicely with my wedding invitation kit, 'One Perfect Day'. Click on the preview to head over to DSI and download it.
If you'd prefer for it to be a dark gray/black wax (and you use PhotoShop) I can recommend the following settings:
* layer options - add a color overlay with the setting as "Color", Black and 100% Opacity.
* duplicate the layer twice (so you end up with 3 layers)
* middle layer - Blend Mode of "Multiply" with 100% Opacity
* top layer - Blend Mode of "Multiply" with 50% Opacity (adjust the Opacity to get the exact shade you are after)
Enjoy!

Haven Designz Store is Closing - 50% off Sitewide Sale
After much deliberation, the owner of Haven Designz DigiScraps, Lissa, has decided to close the store. Although terribly sad and a little unexpected, I completely understand her reasons for doing so. She has been completely dedicated to the store and working almost 24 hours a day since it opened (as well as forking over thousands of dollars to get it going), and the minuscule sales are really not worth all of the time, effort, cost and loss of family time that she puts into the store. I wish her all the best for the future and am certain that another store would LOVE to sell her designs.
The doors will close in one week (sorry, not sure of exact day) and until that time, all products in the entire site are on sale for 50% off (excluding gift certificates and custom services). So head on over to Haven Designz DigiScraps and pick up a bargain before the store closes for good.

Designer Survivor - Update
Unfortunately, I was eliminated this week. Waaaaaa!!!! Towards the end of the week when I had barely started my kit and was unsure about whether I could finish it in time, I was questioning whether I should just drop out of the comp or work like crazy to get it finished in time. I had a funny feeling I would be eliminated but thought that I would hate to forfeit when I had a chance of staying in the game. So, I worked day and night for 2 days straight (totally neglecting my daughter, sleep and my husband's birthday) and I think the kit came out pretty nicely. In hindsight, though, I probably should have made it a bit crappier so that I wasn't seen as a "threat" :)
Oh well... the good news is that my little sister is finally having her baby. Her waters broke late last night and she was admitted to hospital in the wee hours of the morning. A few hours ago she was about 3cm dilated with solid contractions at about 5 mins apart, so hopefully won't be too many hours left. It is amazing how my (repressed) memories of my daughter's birth came flooding back when I heard about her labour. My sister is also having "back labour" which is what I had and ABSOLUTELY hated! Of course, I have no idea what "front labour" feels like, but constant intense back pain with increased intensity with each contraction along with zapping down both arms and legs was not so pleasant... As much as I would love another baby, I definitely don't envy her right now.
It's actually a good thing I was eliminated this week because I still haven't created the kit for my sister's birth announcement (nor the actual announcement) and since he is arriving as I type, I probably should get on to that! :)
Take care and I'll keep you posted about my sister and see if I can put some more freebies together soon.

Designer Survivor - One Perfect Day - Kit Freebie!
Our task this week was to create a traditional "white wedding" kit that was at least 60% white and used only one other colour (in varying shades). We had to create a minimum of 8 papers (3 solids + 5 patterned) and 15 unique elements (with no more than 2 word art elements being counted) as well as an Alpha with at least uppercase or lowercase characters as well as numbers.
Although I had sooo many more things that I wanted to add to this kit, I got it finished and uploaded in time, and I am quite happy with the end result! It contains 22 elements (but only 16 are unique) and 20 papers.
Although this kit is perfect for scrapping your wedding memories, my main motivation behind the kit was for it to be used when creating the various printables associated with a wedding such as "Save the Date" cards, invitations, menus, place cards, thank you cards etc. This way, you can have a consistent theme across your entire wedding which is then also carried through onto your wedding album.
Here is a preview of the alpha:
If you like what you see, the kit is available for free download for one day only. After that it will be put in my stores (and also be a part of my 66% off sale until August 31). I will hopefully also get a chance to create an add-on (or two) to go with it but that won't be for at least a month or two (unless someone needs it desperately before then). :)
To download, head on over to the Brownie Scraps Designer Survivor Week 4 Gallery and pick up my kit along with the wedding kits from the 9 other remaining contestants.
With 1 person having immunity and 3 others being eliminated at about 3pm PST today, I have a 2 in 3 chance of remaining in the competition but feel that I am likely to be eliminated all the same. If not, I'll be back in a couple of days with another freebie and begging for votes again for the immunity challenge!
Enjoy!
