Winterpalooza Starts Today

Wow! February already?!?!?! My beautiful "baby girl" turns 3 on Friday and starts Kindergarten next week! Where did the time go???? Well, may as well enjoy the moment while it lasts... so... sounds like the perfect time to head over to Brownie Scraps and check out what is going on for the Winterpalooza event!

The general gist of Winterpalooza is that you have the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun little events (including scrapping an non-scrapping events) and as you complete each event, you will receive a "stamp". Once you have collected 8 different stamps, you can trade them in for this fabulous collaboration kit.

I am hosting the Scavenger Hunt and you can find out all about it HERE in the Brownie Scraps forum. For full event details, check out this area of the forum.

Apart from that, this month I am also hosting the Brownie Indulgence challenge. For this challenge, you can grab my new mini kit for free and then you need to create a layout using every single item in the mini. You can use the papers or elements multiple times as long as all of them are used at least once. The mini that you get for free is called "Love to Love You" and is shown below. For details of how to get this kit for free, check out this thread.

Finally, if you are currently taking part in the Blog Hunt for Winterpalooza, your next clue is "What's left but the Scrappy baker?". For more information about the Blog Hunt and all of the other fun and games for Winterpalooza, check out this area of the forum.

Enjoy!

  8. I'm in Melbourne, Australia, and here we have 3-year-old Kindergarten for a few hours twice a week (the govt is trying to push for a minimum of 10 hours per week by 2013), 4-year-old Kindergarten which is typically about 3 days of about 3-4 hours each (govt is pushing for a minimum of 15 hours per week by 2013) then they "start school" aged 5-6 in grade Prep which is what I think the US would refer to as Kindergarten (??).
